Boom stabiliser
Boom stabiliser
JC straps are a simple must have accessory in light wind, as used extensively in the Finn and OK class.

I assume that you mean a JC Strap running from the bow to the boom? I saw one in use in very light winds today and it enabled the boat to be heeled to windward downwind without the boom falling towards the centre of the boat. Looks quite useful.

Does any one use a boom stabiliser? If so are they good?
