I'd fix it even it its not leaking. Clean, dry, a little sanding and either gelcoat or a good 2-part epoxy. I have a few dings that have no cracks or soft spots. I will be sanding, fairing and painting them ... for speed.

I have a very small ding near the stern, just above the chine. It's slightly dimpled the gelcoat with a hairline split around around the dimple.
Any suggestions on the best way to patch it up? Or is it not worth bothering about?
