RYA gives the RS AERO PYs
As of today we finally have RYA PYs in the UK! These were delayed from the February release after only a small proportion of the then 80 clubs that had RS Aeros submitted returns. Now with 300 boats at over 125 locations in the UK there is a gigantic amount of data available.
The numbers are;
RS Aero 9 - 1030
RS Aero 7 - 1065
RS Aero 5 - 1105
These numbers are extremely close to what RS have recommended and the Class has been using, which is really encouraging. There is negligible difference with the '9' five points faster and the '5' three points slower. They are approximately what most RS Aeros have been using to date and appear to be working well - so that is great!
