At the 2025 Czech National Championships, around 28 RS Aeros lined up on the start line — a fantastic turnout that highlighted the growing strength and excitement of the RS Aero fleet in the Czech Republic. With a competitive, high-energy fleet battling it out on the water, the event showcased exactly why the RS Aero continues to attract passionate sailors looking for performance, close racing, and pure sailing enjoyment.
This year, the momentum continues to build, with close to 30 boats expected on the start line, welcoming sailors from Germany, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy and Hungary. The growing international presence promises an even deeper, more competitive fleet and a truly European championship atmosphere.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Lipno, the championship is as stunning as it is competitive. Surrounded by rolling Šumava hills, dense forests, and wide open skies, the crystal-clear waters of Lipno provide the perfect arena for championship racing. The combination of reliable winds, expansive sailing waters, and spectacular scenery makes this venue not just a regatta destination — but an unforgettable experience both on and off the water.
And just 20 minutes’ drive away lies the fairy-tale town of ÄŒeský Krumlov, one of the Czech Republic’s most beautiful and historic destinations. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the town is famous for its winding cobbled streets, Renaissance and Baroque architecture, and the stunning ÄŒeský Krumlov Castle overlooking the Vltava River. Sailors and supporters can enjoy riverside cafés, traditional Czech restaurants, vibrant cultural events, and breathtaking panoramic views from the castle tower — making the regatta weekend the perfect blend of world-class racing and unforgettable cultural experience.
